A Blend of Practical Learning Methods

Because our customised, Action Learning programmes are geared to the circumstances of specific clients and their managers, we are able to blend action-orientated individually focused learning strategies into each programme.  As defined above, this includes:

Individual projects designed to improve the performance of the departments controlled by participants.

Group or team projects tackling live issues confronting the organisation, often at a strategic level, featuring cross-boundary issues.    In these action/team learning “sets”, participants learn about team building, group dynamics, leadership and negotiating skills etc.

Personal development plans featuring individual learning contracts, personal learning logbooks and approaches to life-long learning and continuing professional development.

Individual tutorials and small group teaching around the projects, PDPs and the knowledge workshops.

Customised new knowledge workshops, including technical subjects pertinent to the client’s technology.

Intensive client involvement in mentoring participants, advising on projects, building up company case material for subsequent use and assessing participants at the end of the programme, when implementation of the group projects is discussed.
